EAMarketX
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how EAMarketX collects, uses, stores, protects, and retains information when you use the website, marketplace, support tools, and account features.
1. Scope
This policy applies to visitors, registered users, buyers, sellers, and administrators who interact with the platform. By using the service, you agree to the practices described on this page.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect account identifiers, email addresses, display names, avatar paths, bios, login metadata, order records, purchase records, download history, complaint messages, withdrawal requests, payout status, and administrative audit logs. We collect only what is reasonably required to run the marketplace and protect the integrity of transactions.
3. Files and Private Storage
Product files, covers, screenshots, and related downloadable assets are stored in Supabase storage. Private product files are kept behind permission checks, and signed download links are generated only after entitlement is verified. The platform is designed so that files are not publicly exposed, and ordinary operations do not require unrestricted access to user-uploaded files.
In practice, this means your downloadable files remain protected by access control rather than being placed in a public directory. The system checks ownership or purchase entitlement before any download link is issued.
4. How We Use Information
We use collected information to authenticate users, deliver purchased files, maintain seller pages, calculate balances, process withdrawals, manage disputes, detect expired payments, prevent fraud, and preserve security and accounting records.
5. Payments and Payouts
Payment detection, seller balance updates, and automated payouts are executed server-side. Private payout credentials are stored in restricted environment variables and are not intended to be exposed to browser clients. We do not ask buyers or sellers to share private keys through the interface.
When a withdrawal request is created, the platform records the request, schedules it for later processing, and attempts payout according to the platform's operational rules.
6. Disputes and Reviews
Reviews and complaints are tied to purchase records to help the platform verify eligibility and prevent abuse. Complaint submissions may include user-provided descriptions, evidence notes, and resolution history. These records are retained to support moderation, refunds, and future dispute review.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be processed by infrastructure providers such as Supabase, hosting services, and email delivery providers strictly to operate the platform and deliver transactional messages.
We may disclose information if required to comply with law, enforce platform rules, protect users, investigate abuse, or resolve security incidents.
8. Account Security
Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials, email access, and device security. We encourage strong passwords and caution when logging in from shared devices. Admin and payout actions are protected by server-side authorization controls.
9. Data Retention
We retain operational records for as long as needed to support access rights, payments, bookkeeping, dispute handling, compliance, abuse prevention, and security review. Certain transaction-related records may be retained even after an account is closed if they are required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
10. User Controls
You can update your profile information, manage your published items, review purchases, request withdrawals, and contact support for account assistance. Some records may be preserved as part of order history and platform integrity.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy as the platform evolves. Any updated version will be published on this page, and continued use of the platform after changes become effective indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
